Account and data deletion

Logged-in users can delete their Caluno account from the Profile page. Email requests remain available when account access is unavailable.

Self-service deletion

Open Profile -> Account & data.

Choose Delete account, enter the account email address, and type DELETE to confirm.

Caluno deletes the application user profile and learning data, then deletes the linked Supabase Auth user.

Email fallback

Send an email to privacy@caluno.app from the email address used for your Caluno account.

Use the subject line: Data deletion request.

Use this fallback when you cannot sign in or need deletion of a specific data category, such as writing assessments or activity logs.

What deletion covers

Full account deletion removes the Caluno user profile and learning data stored in the application database, including goals, activity logs, vocabulary progress, writing assessments, placement tests, weekly goals, achievements, and textbook progress.

If deletion is completed, the account may no longer be usable and historical progress cannot be restored from the active application database.

Verification and timing

Self-service deletion requires an active signed-in session and confirmation in the app.

Email fallback requests must come from the account email address so Caluno can verify ownership. Caluno aims to respond within 30 days.

Some residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or provider logs until normal retention windows expire.
